We will be cleaning up trash and debris from the trail area around the boat ramp on US-96 in Lumberton.
Volunteers registering for this event will assist park staff and park partners with cleanup efforts. The event will begin at 9AM and end at 12PM.
Type of help:
NOTE: Volunteers are prohibited from handling sharps according to park policy. (Sharps include: needles, scalpels, broken glass, capillary tubes, dental wire, etc.) There will be a required safety meeting at each cleanup site before work begins. Volunteers are encouraged to wear closed-toe shoes, and to bring water, bug spray, and sunscreen. Park staff will supply all necessary equipment (gloves, bags, trash grabbers).
