Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)

The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Humanity Pathways Global (HPG) is responsible for developing and leading human resource strategies that align with our mission, values, and goals. This role focuses on talent management, volunteer / support staff engagement, diversity and inclusion, compliance, and organizational development. The CHRO ensures that HPG attracts, retains, and develops a dedicated workforce while fostering a positive and mission-driven work culture.

Type of help: Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement HR policies, programs, and strategies that support HPG's mission. * Lead a team of HR specialists. * Collaborate with executive leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational goals. * Promote a workplace culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. * Lead recruitment efforts to attract mission-driven professionals, volunteers and support staff. * Design and oversee onboarding, training, and professional development programs. * Work with management to develop retention strategies to reduce turnover and improve volunteer / support staff engagement and satisfaction. * Ensure compliance with labor laws, nonprofit employment regulations, and internal policies. * Support leadership in managing performance and handling HR-related challenges. * Maintain HR records and optimize HR technology tools. * Develop performance management systems that align with HPG goals. * Use HR analytics to measure workforce effectiveness and inform decision-making.

What else ...: Qualifications & Skills: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field. * 7+ years of HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, preferably in a nonprofit setting. * Knowledge of nonprofit employment laws, grant-funded positions, and volunteer management. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse global teams. * Experience managing HR budgets and ensuring cost-effective HR practices. * Passion for nonprofit work and a commitment to the organization’s mission.
