LIGHT Movement is still developing its fundraising strategy. However, because the mission is focused on helping people through grief, we have a strong position to begin a planned giving program. We are looking for someone to work with the Co-Executive Director and other development teammembers to spearhead this initiative.
LIGHT is located in Denver, Colorado, but this opportunity is virtual. The number of hours and schedule are flexible.
Type of help:
Possible duties of this volunteer position include: Leading a group in building the planned giving program and campaign. Assisting with planning the strategic use of resources in fundraising, especially campaigning. Providing expertise to help our website developer build pages that assist donors understand planned giving. If this person became a long-term volunteer, we would appreicate further support and providing expertise in cultivating deeper relationships with donors who are interested in planned giving. This individual will not supervise others. A background check may be required, depending on the specific tasks assigned. Please contact us for more information.

REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 We would prefer someone who can volunteer 10+ hours per week for at least three months, but hours and schedule are flexible. This person should have extensive knowledge about planned giving as it relates to a larger development plan. legal degree or CFRE certification are not required.
