Board of Trustees duties may include the following:

Establishing and reviewing the organization's vision, mission, goals, and strategies
Ensuring the organization complies with legal, ethical, and financial standards
Governing and advising upper management on how to implement organizational policies and plans
Assessing the organization's performance and impact on all stakeholders, such as investors, donors, employees, and clients
Managing the organization's public image and reputation
Onboarding new members and keeping up with issues and trends that affect the organization
