Please sign up with this link: https://sarsef.org/volunteers/judges/. You will receive the virtual links after signing up.

Evaluate projects, interview students, and determine which projects will receive 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in a specific category along with your judging team.

You will use our criteria modeled after the International Science and Engineering Fair to select winning projects and interview students to learn more about their work and encourage them to continue pursuing their interests in STEM.

All judges will need to view virtual training prior to judging to go over procedures and any updates and changes from previous years.

Training Sessions (virtual, you should plan to attend only one):

Tuesday, February 25 6:00pm

Wednesday, February 26 8:00am

Type of help: Mission Statement: Our mission is creating Arizona’s future critical thinkers and problem solvers through science and engineering. Description: Each year, more than 75,000 students throughout Southern Arizona create research projects at their own schools, with the goal of winning a spot at SARSEF. About 2,100 projects, representing more than 4,000 students, are chosen to compete at the TCC - and from there, we select the "best of the best" to honor. Over 400 judges and volunteers come down to help us choose the winning projects.
