Opportunity for age 65+ volunteers to join a weekly virtual

Opportunity for age 65+ volunteers to join a weekly virtual program!

REGISTRATION OPEN: DOROT’s GENuine Connections creates a free online space for adults (65+) and high school students to build generational community over 3-4 weeks of workshops on Zoom.

Engage in meaningful conversation and creative activities within small, consistent groups, leading to the discovery of new perspectives and joy. (All participants must commit to the entire 3-week workshop series. This is how we build community with authentic, positive connections.)

Type of help: Every semester offers a variety of workshop topics to choose from: • Talk about the things you care about: Current Events and Discussion Group • Find fun and recharge: Brain Games (our most popular workshop!), Trivia, and Scrabble • Get creative in a low stakes environment: Storytelling and Theater! Our Winter Semester will take place the week of February 24th and runs for 3 or 4 weeks. No previous experience is necessary, but you must attend a volunteer orientation before the semester begins.
