Head Writer Volunteer Team Member
Hours: 6-8 hours per week
Location: Remote, Global
Reports to: Head Journalist
Role Overview: As Head writer on the team, you will be responsible for uncovering authentic stories from individuals in your geographic region that provide a unique perspective on current events. Your work will bring diverse voices to the forefront, offering readers a deeper understanding of the news.
Type of help:
Key Responsibilities: • Identify and connect with individuals affected by or involved in current news stories. • Conduct interviews and gather personal stories that offer fresh perspectives. • Write and edit compelling articles based on these interviews. • Collaborate with the editorial team to ensure accuracy and sensitivity in reporting. • Stay informed about global news trends and breaking stories.
