Fundraising Internship

The World Championships Organizing Committee, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charity that promotes international sport by organizing tennis and pickleball tournaments and events, is seeking is seeking Fundraising Interns to support our team. The ideal candidates will be highly motivated, have good organizational and communication skills, and an interest in the nonprofit sector.
Through this internship you will gain valuable experience in development initiatives including donor cultivation, stewardship, solicitation, grants, email campaigns, and much more.
Responsibilities:
• Preparing correspondence and mailings related to donor communications;
• Filling out business and corporate applications for grants and donations;
• Supporting donor database management, including making accurate donor records and data entry;
• Managing logistics associated with event planning, including list and vendor management;
• Conducting corporate and individual prospect research;
• Supporting the grant process, including proposal drafting and deadline management;
• Providing general administrative support; and
• Supporting other related projects deemed appropriate

Description: The WCOC was formed in 2000 and has hosted numerous large large tennis events in the past twenty-plus years, including the 2004 World Championships, one of the largest tennis tournaments in history.
