Spanish-speaking Virtual Volunteer Guides needed with Musicians

Spanish-speaking Virtual Volunteer Guides needed with Musicians On Call!

Musicians On Call (MOC) is a nonprofit organization that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients, families and caregivers in healthcare environments. You can help deliver the healing power of music virtually!

Virtual Volunteer Guides host a 30 minute shift with a Volunteer Musician on Zoom while the feed is livestreamed to pediatric and adult patients in hospitals across the country. The Guide starts the Zoom meeting and admits the Musician, initiates the YouTube livestream, welcomes everyone at the start of the shift, and closes out the performance with a goodbye. Guides should speak fluent Spanish and come prepared with engaging, hospital-appropriate questions and conversation topics to discuss with the Musician between songs.

Volunteer Guide applicants must submit an audition video which will be evaluated for suitability prior to acceptance into the program. MOC’s certification process is as follows:

MOC Certification (includes Background check)
Volunteer Audition Video and Application
Shadow an MOC Virtual shift prior to start date
