Donor Engagement Manager

Type of help: Responsibilities: 1.Developing fundraising strategies Planning and implementing fundraising strategies for major gifts, principal gifts, planned gifts, and more. 2.Building relationships Cultivating and stewarding relationships with donors and prospects, and working with internal leadership and influencers. 3.Managing donor portfolios Managing a portfolio of donors and prospects, and tracking and assessing fundraising metrics. 4.Supporting donor events Supporting events that connect donors with the organization's work, both in person and digitally. 5.Developing marketing materials Working with the communications team to develop marketing materials for development. 6.Maintaining donor records Maintaining donor records and managing the logistics and data for donor appeals and communications. 7.Qualifying prospects Qualifying prospective donors from events, membership programs, and other leads. 8.Leading donor research Leading donor research to identify prospects and opportunities to upgrade donors.

Wish List: REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 21 4 hours per week Qualifications: A background or interest in donor engagement and fundraising experience. Previous experience developing and implementing fundraising strategies and annual campaigns. Self-starter with a strong collaborative work ethic and ability to work independently. Outgoing, professional, personable, resourceful, and calm under pressure. Flexibility to work a varied schedule that will includes virtual work. Experience with DonorPerfect or other similar fundraising database or an aptitude to learn. Proficient with standard PC computer software, including MS Word, Excel, Adobe products, internet applications and e-mail. Ability to thrive within a small, non-profit environment.
