Board or Committe Member

The Lake Chelan Bach Fest is a 43-year tradition in the Lake Chelan Valley. It's grown to over 100 musicians and 21 events for a week of world class live music, including Bach and the classics but also world and pop music, in winery venues and other beautiful performance spaces. We have rotating Artistic Directors/Conductors to create amazing symphonic performances, and it has become the cultural gem of the Lake Chelan Valley. Planning goes on all year, and members work closely together and with donors to fund and plan each summer's festival. What are your areas of expertise, or how would you like to contribute? Musicians and patrons of art are always fun to work with so contact us today about how to serve. You don't have to be an artist or know about the music, just love it. Local members are highly prized, but many opportunies are virtual. All our Board meetings are offered on Zoom.

Type of help: Mission Statement: The mission of Lake Chelan Bach Fest is to inspire, enrich and educate audiences, participants and the communities of the region through experiencing a variety of live artistic performances. Description: From our humble beginnings of a few musicians getting together to sing and play classical music, Bach Fest has grown to over 100 musicians and 21 events in nine days of performances, bringing our audiences world class music from Bach and the classics to Pops in the Park. Bach Fest in the Chelan Valley casts a wide net of the variety of musical expression, from flamenco to children's programs, and even a cover band. Enjoy wine tasting with Winery Concerts, slip away for some culture at a Noon concert, or join with our community for a picnic on the grass for the finale concert at Riverwalk Park Pavillion. Planning this extravaganza takes all year, and builds on expertise in fundraising, logistics, event planning, publicity, marketing, bookkeeping, donor relations, and Board governance, plus your gifts. Let's talk about how you'd like to be involved.
