Volunteer Coordinator

The Volunteer Coordinator will play a key role in managing and expanding FutureTech Foundation’s volunteer network. This position is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, training, and supporting volunteers, ensuring that they have a positive experience while contributing to the organization’s mission. The coordinator will also work closely with different departments to align volunteer activities with FutureTech Foundation’s goals, particularly around tech mentorship, community engagement, and education.

Responsibilities:

Volunteer Recruitment: Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract volunteers for various programs, events, and community outreach efforts.

Onboarding & Training: Coordinate the onboarding process, including orientation and training sessions for new volunteers. Create materials or utilize existing ones for volunteer training.

Volunteer Engagement: Foster a positive volunteer experience by maintaining regular communication, recognizing contributions, and providing ongoing support and resources.

Scheduling & Coordination: Organize volunteer schedules and assign them to projects that match their skills and interests, including tech mentorship, education programs, and community outreach.

Event Support: Coordinate volunteers for FutureTech events, both virtual and in-person, and ensure they are well-prepared for their roles.

Database Management: Maintain a database of volunteers, tracking hours, roles, and contributions. Provide regular reports to leadership on volunteer engagement.

Evaluation & Feedback: Collect feedback from volunteers and program leaders to continuously improve the volunteer experience and make recommendations for new roles or programs.
