This position is only available for candidates who currently reside in the United States, with strong preference for candidates residing in the EST time zone.
A committed coaching team is needed to support Onyx (Boys/Girls ages 9 to 21) - the fledgling Drumline of SoulPhamm. Auditions for this team will begin virtually in October and then their season will run until June.
The Drumline often attracts young people who are at the very start of their musical careers - having little to no experience in drumming. Occasionally, we also attract students who have experience with other instruments who want to learn the collegiate drumline style. Coaches will have the autonomy to influence the team's style, adding Jersey and NYC flavor to their routines.
The team will practice virtually on an evening of the coach's choosing (or on a Saturday any time between 12pm and 6pm). We have a need for one or two virtual coaches. The virtual coaches will partner with in-person coaches (also being recruited) to ensure that the line is fully prepared to play.
