We are a new animal-therapy rescue / non-profit who needs a CPA and some financial planning advice. Seeking someone in California familiar with best practices for non-profit bookkeeping & filing taxes for us! Our tagline is "We Rescue Them. They Save Us." Now we need a CPA hero to come save us! =)While we are dedicated and intelligent professionals, finance & bookkeeping is not our area of expertise! We are committed to getting started on the right foot, but do not have the budget to pay a CPA to assist with our books/taxes. For someone who knows accounting & IRS requirements/rules for non-profits, this should be a breeze! The ANIMALS (& amazing humans they serve) NEED YOUR HELP! For the right fit, we would be interested in converting this project into a Board seat.We currently have a CHASE checking/savings account, one credit card in the name of the non-profit, and have received 2 small grants. We use Givebutter for our donation platform and Quickbooks Online Plus.

We share our growing family of rescue animals to provide education and advocacy concerning the gravity of animal protection measures and the critical significance of animal-human bonds. We envision a community caring for its animals and their humans, healing hearts together through the amazing animal-human bond.
