Bereavement Call Volunteer: Support Greiving Families with Monthly Phone Calls

Are you a compassionate and empathic listener? Do you have 2-3 hours a month to share?

AccentCare Hospice of Mississippi is seeking compassionate and caring individuals to support our bereaved families. Volunteers make phone calls to families whose loved one has passed away in the last year. Calls will provide grief support to bereaved families. Calls can be made completely virtual or completed from one of our offices in Flowood, Meridian, Philadelphia, or Grenada.

Type of help: Qualifying applicants are U.S. Citizens that are 15 years of age or older and able to pass a health screen, background check, and drug test. Notice: Our volunteer opportunities require in-person completion of some hiring modules and training during the onboarding process. Applicants should consider this requirement upon application and be able to accommodate.
