Overview: Change Me Foundation Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and communities affected by mental health challenges in Broward County, Florida. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mentor Program Coordinator to oversee our mentorship program, which aims to provide support and guidance to individuals in need.

Type of help: Responsibilities: 1.Develop Mentor Program: Design, implement, and manage the organization's mentorship program, including recruiting mentors and mentees, matching participants, and providing ongoing support and guidance. 2.Mentor Training: Develop and facilitate training programs for mentors to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively support mentees. 3.Participant Support: Provide ongoing support to mentors and mentees, including regular check-ins, problem-solving, and resource referrals to address mentees' needs. 4.Program Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the mentorship program, collecting feedback from participants and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments. 5.Community Engagement: Collaborate with community partners, schools, and other organizations to promote the mentorship program and recruit mentors and mentees. 6.Data Management: Maintain accurate records of mentor and mentee demographics, program activities, and outcomes using the organization's database or tracking system. 7.Reporting: Prepare regular reports on program activities, outcomes, and impact for internal and external stakeholders, including funders, board members, and supporters. 8.Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of the mentorship program budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and effectively. 9.Matching and Support: Screen and assess mentee applicants to determine their needs and preferences, Match mentors and mentees based on compatibility, interests, and goals. Provide ongoing support and guidance to mentors and mentees throughout their match relationship.Monitor and evaluate mentor-mentee matches to ensure effectiveness and address any issues or concerns

Hours expected: This is a volunteer position requiring a flexible time commitment of approximately 5 hours per week. Some evening and weekend availability may be required to accommodate mentor-mentee meetings and events.
Availability: Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, education, or related field (Master's degree preferred). Minimum of 2 years of experience in program coordination, preferably in a mentoring or social services setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trusting relationships with diverse populations. Knowledge of mentoring best practices, adolescent development, and trauma-informed care. Experience in curriculum development, training facilitation, and program evaluation. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management software. Commitment to the mission and values of Change Me Foundation Inc.
