We as women are about the quality of life through wellness, lifestyle, and empowerment. Her Nexx Chapter is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We build and connect the missing bridge for her inner balance, peace, and self-assurance to help women stimulate self-growth with ways to connect, mentor, and nurture her lifestyle. Our humanitarian contributions to women, for women, indicate our commitment to the true concept of "The Future of Connection for Women." Our vision is to create a global nonprofit platform that propels her limitless possibilities. We are a community where women connect, explore and transform through an immersive virtual platform of coaches with expertise in the areas of career, finance, leadership, self-connection, parenting and entrepreneurship.

Type of help: In addition to our vision illuminating a diverse group of women spanning multi-generations with increased capacity to embrace individual strengths for well-being, we have created a community within our internal structure for our volunteers. We are proud that our platform provides opportunities to help mentor and enhance our volunteers' skills with professional leadership.

Availability: Job Description: ● Build relationships with new media contacts and maintain relationships with existing contacts ● Pitch story ideas and content to media ● Lead media release schedule for the upcoming event on July 5th ● Respond to requests for information from media outlets in a timely manner ● Organize, schedule, and prepare key leaders for press interviews and other media appearances as needed ● Write press releases, interview questions/responses, media summaries, and other public relations copy material as needed ● Track, evaluate, and share results of PR efforts Requirements ● Strong working knowledge of a variety of public relations programs and campaigns ● Must have an existing relationship with both Texas-based traditional and digital media outlets or experience in reaching out to media outlets in the Central-South USA area (ideally 6-18 months of experience) ● Priority will be given to those based in any of the following cities: Dallas, Houston, or Austin ● Self-starter, Team Player with the ability to organize, plan and manage time ● Support will be provided on graphic design and copywriting for PR purposes *While the position is currently temporary, there may be a chance to hold a more permanent post moving forward.
