Mentor A Child - Train Virtually and Mentor In-Person (Vancouver, WA / Portland, OR metro area)

Our kids are between the ages of 9-16 and facing adverse circumstances. They have experienced trauma and have a deep need for a trustworthy adult to help them develop confidence in themselves and others. Great Life Mentoring is a Research-Based practice proven to work!

Our mentors come from the Vancouver, WA and Portland, OR areas to mentor their friend that resides in Clark County, WA or Portland, OR. We will train you virtually and you'll meet your friend and mentor them in person. The application is online, the interview and training are done via zoom from your phone or computer. We want to make it easy for you to help a child who really needs you now.

Type of help: As a Great Life Mentor, you will: Be able to choose the day and time you pick your friend up to do something fun in the community Have a great time and build a healthy relationship with your friend 1-3 hours a week Receive the training and support needed to help you be successful as a mentor If this sounds like the opportunity you've been searching for, let us know you're ready to get started!
