Global Grand Rounds Volunteer (CME Coordinator)

OVERVIEW

Global OffSite Care is a 501c3 nonprofit and our mission is to increase access to specialized healthcare for all by providing technology platforms to doctors and clinics around the world through Rotary Club sponsored telemedicine projects. Our initiatives include connecting partner hospitals to our telemedicine network, Global Grand Rounds/Continuing Medical Education, and global teleconsults. We currently have 12 partner countries and 18 hospitals that participate in our telemedicine network.

A key part of what Global Telemedicine offers is the opportunity for doctors and healthcare professionals from many countries to participate in Global Grand Rounds.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Participate on Global Grand Rounds team which is responsible for inviting participation in global grand rounds and supporting the presenters

Type of help: SKILLS: Ability to efficiently learn the processes and tools to conduct Global Grand Rounds • Build and maintain invitation list • Maintain link from website to receive invitation • Scheduling Presenter • Communicate presentation information with volunteer creating GGR Flyer • Creating a GGR Flyer if a volunteer is not available • Compose Invitation • Communicate information with website manager to update website with topic • Feedback Form • CME Process
Languages spoken: ENGLISH
What else ...: Have a command of relevant computer software - Google tools such as Drive, Docs, Slides, MS Office, Box, Mailchimp, Zoom, Canva, etc Clear communication skills, both written and spoken Detail oriented Comfortable dealing with doctors and engaging them in Global Telemedicine Recommended Qualifications Rotarian, Rotaractor or familiar with Rotary Skilled in process development Command of medical terms Available to attend monthly Global Grand Rounds on Wednesday at 8 am Pacific Time
