Application Screener

Adoption application screeners are one of the most important volunteer jobs in rescue. We need your help!

Do you love cats and kittens? Would you like to be part of an organization dedicated to rescuing those in need of care or life-saving treatment? Are you looking for a way to help without leaving your home?

Loving Care Cat Rescue is in need of adoption application screeners. Application screeners will take the adoption applications we receive, then confirm home ownership/call landlords, call references, vets and guardians. Once screening is complete, the application will be handed off to the foster for final review and approval. Applications must be turned around within 24-48 hours.

This position is good for people who are available during the day to make and receive phone calls in the Eastern time zone. It requires use of a computer to update our database of applications, and to search for applicant's online presence.

While the position is virtual, we do need our screeners to reside in the continental United States.

Type of help: Mission Statement: Our mission is to provide loving care to every cat that comes through the rescue, regardless of their circumstances or medical condition; and actively seek a permanent home for each cat/kitten rescued. Unless serious illness would warrant, euthanasia is not an option for cats in the care of Loving Care Cat Rescue. Description: Loving Care Cat Rescue is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to the care and re-homing of cats and kittens, where needed medical care is provided. regardless of the cost, to ensure a safe and healthy life for every cat.
