We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to take ownership of the virtual event setup and execution for Vahati’s upcoming Women’s Day Conference. Since over 90% of our attendees will be joining virtually, this role is critical to ensuring a seamless, engaging, and well-managed experience. Key Responsibilities 1. Virtual Conference System Implementation

Research, evaluate, and implement a reliable, cost-effective virtual conference platform that can accommodate up to 1,500 attendees.
Ensure the platform supports breakout rooms for deeper, interactive discussions.
Compare pricing options and recommend the best solution balancing cost, functionality, and reliability.
Test the chosen system with volunteers before the event to ensure a smooth experience.
On the event day, oversee setup, risk management, and operational troubleshooting for a flawless execution.

Type of help: 2. Coordination & Execution on Event Day • Work closely with the Executive Director to determine the number of volunteers required for setup and execution. • Define specific responsibilities for each volunteer to ensure the tech setup is solid and smoothly managed. • Lead the real-time execution of the virtual conference, ensuring all systems are running efficiently. 3. Live Broadcasting & Production • Collaborate with the production team to manage live broadcasting of keynote speeches, panel discussions, and inspirational talks. • Ensure a high-quality attendee experience, with smooth streaming and minimal technical issues. • Oversee the signup system, ensuring it is well-integrated and hassle-free for attendees. 4. Investigating & Implementing Lean In Circles for Vahati • Research and investigate platforms for Lean In Circles or other peer-to-peer support groups. • Lead the proof-of-concept (POC) development to present at the conference. • Decide whether to conduct the initial research independently or bring in additional support 5. Security & Access Management • Ensure proper login access and system setup for the entire team. • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive data.

Who We’re Looking For • Experienced Tech Leader with a background in tech administration, IT operations, or event technology. • Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot real-time issues on event day. • Ability to lead and coordinate volunteers effectively. • Experience with virtual event platforms and live streaming technologies.
