Financial Analyst /Budgeting Specialist

Our organization is looking for a Social Impact Financial Analyst, with previous demonstrated experience within the 501c3 sector. One who can assist with providing financial guidance necessary to develop a centralized community resource hub. The primary purpose for the development of this hub is to serve vulnerable children, their families, and elderly in crisis. Additionally, we have a goal to enhance our collaborative efforts with Care Portal, as well as developing new "engaging" community resource partnerships.

We are looking for this individual to assist in all aspect of developing the agency budget & play a large role in developing revenue streams. Specific duties will include budget development, long-term planning, forecasting trends, implementing financial tools and reports, gather data to support financial analysis and budget development, and help in decision making for advisement to internal and external stakeholders The assigned Financial Analyst will assist with understanding and responding to the needs of the Sr. Operations Team and internal & external stakeholders, as they pertain to the growth and development of our organization.

Accommodation suggestions: Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus. Previous experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or pricing strategy is preferred but not required. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Pricing Strategy: 2. Analyze market trends and competitors' pricing to inform our pricing strategy. Develop pricing models for our products/services to maximize revenue while maintaining affordability for our target audience. Recommend pricing adjustments based on cost analysis, market research, and profitability goals. 3. Budget Development: 4. Work with program managers to develop annual budgets for our initiatives. Review historical financial data and project future expenses to create accurate budget projections. Provide guidance on resource allocation and cost-saving opportunities to optimize our budget allocation. 5. Financial Analysis: 6. Conduct financial analysis to assess the financial health and performance of our programs. Prepare financial reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators and financial metrics. Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance financial efficiency and sustainability. 7. Partnership Development: 8. Collaborate with our team to explore partnership opportunities with businesses and organizations. Assist in financial negotiations and contract reviews with potential partners. Evaluate the financial implications of partnership agreements and assess their alignment with our organizational goals. 9. Communication and Collaboration: 10. Communicate financial insights and recommendations to our team in a clear and concise manner. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial goals and program objectives. Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic discussions related to pricing, budgeting, and financial planning.
